Foss Real Estate Partners was founded to redefine the way real estate deals get done.

Many real estate sponsors execute sophisticated transactions but lack the internal infrastructure required to support institutional-quality financial analysis and capital markets execution. Building and managing large internal finance teams remains costly, inefficient, and often unnecessary.

Foss was created to solve that. We provide real estate sponsors with institutional-quality financial and capital markets expertise through a modern, embedded approach. Rather than operating as an external advisor, Foss integrates directly with our clients’ deal teams, working alongside them from opportunity evaluation through closing.

THE FACES OF FOSS

Founded by Chris Biesanz, Foss leverages extensive experience across acquisitions, development, and fund management. The Foss team has closed deals across all major asset classes as small as $1 million, single assets as large as $1 billion, and portfolio acquisitions as large as $3 billion. The team has managed funds for fund managers ranging from $10 million to $1 billion of equity under management. The Foss team strives to bring institutional expertise and processes to entrepreneurial sponsors.

Robert Horton is a Principal at Foss Real Estate Partners with 15 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, development, and asset management. He has structured and closed more than $5 billion in debt and equity transactions across all major asset classes and deal types. Prior to Foss, Robert served as Managing Director at Concord Summit and Director at George Smith Partners, originating and structuring capital across the full CRE spectrum. He also held an asset management role at Brookfield Properties, overseeing a 10 million–square-foot Class A portfolio in downtown Los Angeles, with additional experience at Marcus & Millichap, Westwood Financial, and AECOM.

Zach Currey brings over 10 years of real estate investment, development, and asset management experience, having been involved in more than $4 billion of transactions across all major asset classes. Prior to Foss, he executed ARGUS Enterprise project work for clients on office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use projects ranging from $10 million to $3 billion.

Crawford McCrary brings five years of commercial real estate experience across investment, development, and portfolio management. Prior to joining Foss, he was part of the Digital Infrastructure team at Blue Owl Capital, where he executed portfolio management functions across more than three funds totaling $15 billion in equity commitments focused on data center development.

Will Stebbins specializes in debt and equity origination, structuring, and execution across multifamily, industrial, retail, and hospitality assets. With over four years in capital markets, he has closed over $850 million in debt and equity transactions, with experience spanning complex capital stacks and public-private partnership structures. Will holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate Finance from Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business, where he was an SMU Dean's Scholar and an active member of the Folsom Institute for Real Estate.

Maxwell Case specializes in acquisitions underwriting, capital markets, and transaction execution across commercial real estate investments. With four years of experience, he has contributed to the underwriting and execution of more than $5 billion in transactions, including asset acquisitions, portfolio dispositions, and institutional preferred equity raises. Prior to joining Foss, Maxwell served as an Acquisitions Analyst at Roots Management Group, where he supported investment execution across the full deal lifecycle. Maxwell holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate Finance from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.
